‘Modi Magic’ making headlines in Pakistan as BJP sweeps Hindi Heartland in Assembly Polls

BJP swept the Hindi heartland after their splendid performance in the recently concluded Assembly Polls. In the state assembly elections, BJP retained power in MP and wrested control of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh from Congress. Meanwhile, BJP’s thumping victory is the talk of the town in Pakistan Media, and making headlines. Pakistan’s The News International reported that “Poll results show strong Modi grip on India”. “Victories in 3 of the 5 states will further boost right-wing BJP and Modi in upcoming elections”. The Dawn in its article stated “Election results are seen as yet another setback for the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty”. After BJP’s thumping victory, Geo News reported “Modi remains popular after a decade in power”. This emphatic win for the BJP comes ahead of the General Elections in 2024, in which the party is eyeing for third term win. Top BJP leaders credited the Prime Minister for the triumph and said “Modi-Magic” worked in state polls. PM Modi during his address to BJP cadres from HQ in Delhi said that “today’s hat-trick is a guarantee for a hat-trick in 2024”
