Ahead of his space journey, his residence in Nidhi Triveni Nagar, Lucknow, has been decorated with various posters congratulating him. The entire neighborhood is buzzing with excitement and pride, saying, “Today, Triveni Nagar's son has become the pride of the nation.” Captain Subhanshu Shukla’s neighbors are visibly thrilled and said they had been eagerly waiting for this moment. “Subhanshu is a role model for all of us, and today, because of him, our neighborhood, our state, and our country are gaining global recognition. We are praying for the success of his mission and look forward to welcoming him back with grand celebrations. We pray to God that he returns safely and successfully completes his mission.” Subhanshu Shukla’s father expressed his joy, saying, “We are extremely excited about this mission. It is a matter of immense pride for us that our son is going to represent the country on the global stage. He spoke to us yesterday — he was excited too, and it’s amazing to see his dream come true. We are praying for his strength and protection as he travels millions of kilometers, making the country and the state proud. As a father, I feel proud. When our son met the Prime Minister and was honored with a badge, our hearts swelled with pride.” Meanwhile, Captain Subhanshu’s mother shared her emotions: “Because of our son, people are treating us with great respect. We are praying to God for his safe return after completing his mission. Hearing the praises from everyone brings us immense joy. When I last spoke to him, I boosted his morale by telling him, ‘You are a lion — go with courage and come back safely. We are waiting for you.’ That was our conversation last evening, and we are preparing to give him a grand welcome on his return.”
