Wall Street closes mixed; Nasdaq falls 0.44%

New York [US], October 13: Major Wall Street indices closed mixed on Monday; the Nasdaq Composite declined and the S&P 500 remained flat, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose.
The S&P 500 fell 3.75 points, or 0.05%, to 7,807.79, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 120.17 points, or 0.44%, to 27,246.
In contrast, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 198.22 points, or 0.38%, to close at 51,853.17.
