The owner of the '3 billion VND crown found to be entirely made of fake diamonds' speaks out

Hanoi [Vietnam], July 25: Speaking to Thanh Nien newspaper , Nguyen Thi Dieu Van - the owner of the video showing her wearing a 3 billion VND crown for verification - affirmed that she spoke out to restore her honor and to prevent other girls from falling into the same situation.
Dieu Van is ready to hand over the crown to the authorities.
After a video showing a 3 billion VND crown being examined but found to be entirely made of fake diamonds caused a stir on social media, Nguyen Thi Dieu Van (stage name of Nguyen Thi Thao) - the owner of the video - officially spoke out about the story.
Dieu Van stated that the clip was made in 2023, but at that time she faced too much pressure due to the organizers stripping her of her title and other objective factors, so she did not upload the clip online.
She said, "I never thought I would instigate anything to gain fame; maybe that's what they thought. I'm an architect, I occasionally do photoshoots, shoot videos, or release music and sing. I have many other jobs, so the title of beauty queen means nothing to me. It was an incident that affected my honor, so why would I instigate it just to 'boost' my reputation? That's completely illogical."
Diệu Vân confided that after winning the crown, she did not receive any work from any activities or job opportunities from the organizers. The 9X beauty also expressed frustration at being harassed by many sponsors because the organizers did not pay the outstanding amounts after the competition ended.
