Actress Ngan Hoa has garnered attention for sharing updates on her health after undergoing treatment for end-stage kidney failure. The actress stated that her health has improved significantly. Thanks to this, the star of the film "The Happy Ghost" has been able to return to work, artistic projects, and her daily life.

Actress Ngan Hoa was diagnosed with stage 3 chronic kidney disease in 2023. By the end of 2024, her condition had reached the terminal stage. At this point, her kidneys' filtering function was almost nonexistent, and her anemia had worsened. Doctors advised that the most effective and sustainable treatment option was a kidney transplant as soon as possible. Due to her weakened health, the actress had to stop working to receive treatment.
According to her representative, Ngan Hoa only has her father left, but he is elderly and unable to provide support. The actress has been independent since a young age and works hard to support her two younger siblings.
