Sharjah Private Education Authority launches nursery administrator's training

Sharjah [UAE], March 7: The events of Sharjah's first professional development week for administrators of public and private nurseries, organised by the Continuous Development Section of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), kicked off on Monday with the participation of more than 132 nurseries nationwide.
The week-long gathering kicked off at the Sharjah Education Academy's headquarters.
Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA, said, "The emirate of Sharjah, under the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, was proactive in providing everything that would take care of children, so the decision came to establish government nurseries, to provide all aspects of caring for children of working mothers."
Al Hosani added that the week's goal is to improve and develop the performance of schools, as well as to surmount challenges and barriers, and that the authority's support for private educational institutions through growth management has resulted in a significant shift in the work system.
The authority had released a handbook with defined criteria, which was disseminated to schools throughout the emirate, and they were allowed six months to work in line with the stated standards and proper education methods.
