Russian drone attack on Dnipro kills one, injures 15

Kiev [Ukraine], October 1: One person was killed in a "brazen" daytime Russian drone strike on the Ukrainian industrial city of Dnipro on Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
The attack targeted "civilian infrastructure," he wrote on Telegram, renewing his call for tougher international sanctions against Russia.
Serhiy Lysak, governor of the south-eastern Dnipropetrovsk region, said 15 others were injured, with 13 of them requiring hospital treatment.
Videos circulating on social media showed a burning apartment building and several charred cars on a busy street.
Ukraine has been resisting Russia's full-scale invasion for more than three and a half years, with civilian casualties reported almost daily from drone strikes on towns and cities.
