Qatar Cup 2026 moved to QSL's next season calendar

Doha [Qatar], April 17: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) on Thursday announced that the Qatar Cup 2026 will be rescheduled and included in the 2026-2027 season calendar.
In a statement, the QSL said the decision was made in coordination with relevant stakeholders after reviewing the remaining fixtures of the current 2025-2026 season. The league noted that the schedule has been affected by several unplanned breaks, as well as the participation of Qatari clubs in international competitions and the national team's preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.
As a result, QSL confirmed that the Qatar Cup 2026 will be played during the next season.
The Qatar Cup is contested by the top four teams of the top flight Qatar Stars League at the end of each season.
