Hamilton fastest in second free practice at US Grand Prix

Washington DC (USA) Nov 2: Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton finished first in the second free practice of the F1 US Grand Prix as he clocked a best lap time of 1 minute 33.232 seconds on Friday.
After finishing eighth in the first practice, the British driver looked in-form in the second practice. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc trailed behind Hamilton with a time of 1:33.533.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen topped the first practice with a time of 1:34.057.
"I love this track in general," said Hamilton, who won five out of the seven US Grands Prix since 2012. "It's a track that's generally suited me in the past, and the car is feeling fairly decent here today. We've got some work to do still. There are some areas we can improve on."
Hamilton needs only to finish in the top eight on Sunday to win his sixth F1 title, which will put him in second place in the career F1 titles. Germany's Michael Schumacher tops the standings with seven titles.
